Rainbow Sun SSL now has about 25 boys from Sunnyside area as regular participants. They are divided into 4 teams (Red, Blue, Green, Yellow) for futsal.  Our main play ground George Brink Park has an outdoor futsal court though it needs repair…  Teams play each other every Saturday.

These children never used to gather and play soccer together at the park. Park was always empty and not utilized.  Recently, however, we have discovered that Rainbow Sun SSL boys are gathering and playing soccer after their school at the park. We are hoping to have more volunteers to supervise the children’s safety and soccer skill.

We are recruiting more boys and girls (6 – 18 years) to establish Sunnyside Soccer League and planning to hold a tournament by September.

Currently we are soliciting for donations and funds for uniforms and tournament prizes. Volunteers (referees, coaches, first aiders, etc.) are all welcome! If you could offer a venue for After School or know about possible venue, please let us know.
